FEA and extensive prototype testing are used to design the Armor Deck composite ramps with the most innovative, lightweight and durable materials available.

Armor Deck portable composite ramps are used to convey passengers between trains and elevated platforms where the gap is too wide or between two trains in emergency situations. They’re designed to meet transit authorities’ and train car manufacturers’ specific requirements for loading, weight, span and mounting.

The fixed composite ramps have been installed on concrete platforms to raise them permanently to the train door level and meet ADA regulations. They can be installed quickly under flagging and used immediately with no disruption to passengers. Armor-Tile tactile warning and Ecoglo photoluminescent strips can be incorporated to meet ADA and building code regulations.
